Again, may I just tell you that day light savings time is RUINING me. Now last night, Young Sloan was ultimately awake until 10:00 PM, just wailing away, which meant that the elder Sloans did not even attempt to sleep until al was quiet. This put us in bed at about 10:30 PM and to get to track practice on time, I need to be up at 5:20 AM. After tossing and turning for a bit, I turned off the alarm and gave up on track practice.
In a weird strange conundrum of child sleep patterns, Sloan the Younger's late bedtime did not translate into a late morning. He was up bright and early and supremely grumpy; a grumpiness that continued throughout the day, and went on until the evening and no doubt will continue all week.
I was able to get out for a run while Young Sloan was in nursery school. It was about 5 miles of quite cold weather and lackluster athletic performance. Bleh. I am hoping for better tomorrow.
In other news, I bought a WEDGE OF BRIE at the grocery store today. A WEDGE. I am not sure what came over me or how it happened, but there is now half of a wedge of brie sitting in my refrigerator calling my name. There is a slight chance that I will scramble it into eggs tomorrow, and then it will be gone and I can pretend it did not happen.
Aaaah, brie!!
