Saturday: Run

Hair Treatment!!
So last night, I was home too late to blog.  By "home too late to blog", I mean 10:00 PM.  When I get home too late too late to blog, that also means I am home too late to get up early enough to meet my running group.  Now, I have to say that when I do not center my Saturday with a great run, I generally do a lot of time wasting and today was NO EXCEPTION.  It was also a long day of confusing hunger with boredom.

This morning, Sloan the Younger and I met my parents for breakfast at the Puffy Muffin, I mowed through some quiche, toasted whole wheat bread (with butter) and a bowl of fruit.  At home, I did hit the neighborhood for a 5ish mile run, but hung out on the couch for so long eating cereal, that the run now seems completely negligible.  At a point, I felt really ill, which I think makes a lot of sense with the amount of food that I ingested.

After leeching away what seems like several hours watching Scott Pilgrim, Sloan IV brought home a bunch of salad and chips and queso and the rest of the evening just devolved.  In fact, confession: I might be watching it for the second time right now, and it was a good movie, but not that good.  It is just a Saturday of laziness, of avoiding obligation, of taking a nap in the same clothes that I ran in.

I did do a deep condition treatment on Young Sloan's hair, as he has been walking around like he stuck his finger in a light socket due to some highly chlorinated swimming earlier in the week.

Now, Friday was a great day of swimming long course, doing yard work, getting ready for a great night out at a reception and a fun movie, and getting home too late to blog.

Church and Swim tomorrow!!
