Sunday: True Story and Swim

True Story:  A Krispy Kreme Chocolate Covered Cream Filled Doughnut has 350 empty calories and yesterday I had two.  How can one doughnut have that many calories?  It is staggering.  They were, I will tell you, crazy delicious.  I did run 16 miles yesterday, and I am round about the middle with Baby Sloan #2 who is the size of a green olive, BUT two doughnuts seems excessive; especially since I went through the drive through and inhaled them in the parking lot as if I were engaged in some sort of Japanese food eating game show.  I am certain that my fellow parking lot patrons were repulsed, or I take that back.  I actually noted that there was more than one person in the Krispy Kreme parking lot who was eating doughnuts in their car in a similar fashion, and they, my friends, may have done many things that morning, BUT they had not run 16 miles.  They may however, have exerted similar ergs while attempting to get into their sans-a-belt pants.  I was right there with them, so no judgement.

Anyway, I hope the that doughnut monster inside me is quelled, much like I hope the mini-quiche monster is quelled, the queso monster is quelled, and the grilled cheese monster is quelled.  I hope it is true, but I think it is most likely not.

In other news, we went to church this morning and I had swim in the afternoon.  Swim ended up being 3000 meters, because we swim long course on Sundays.  Our swim was a series of 200s that were all sort of kick, pull and drill varieties.  It was a hard workout and I think I am taking tomorrow off.  I am trying to fit in one day off a week.
