Sunday: Run

Will post this year's Easter pics tomorrow!!

So last night, I informed every member of my family, including myself, that we needed to leave early for church.  Church is always crowded on Easter and if you do not leave early you have to sit on a folding chair in the back causing a fire hazard OR you have to endure the shame of sitting in a back room watching the service on satellite with the other shameful latecomers.

We laid out our clothes the night before, we were all in agreement and while we were not actually late for church, we were right on time, which meant that we had to sit in the back in folding chairs.  It was a total fire hazard, we were knees to elbows and I almost sort of give up on punctuality.  It is apparently something that will never happen for us.

There was a great Easter egg hunt after church.  Ivan found many eggs and is probably in the early stages of diabetic coma based solely on jelly bean consumption.

At home, I prepared Easter lunch serving chicken marbella, rice and asparagus.  My rice was rather gross.  I made it the night before, and it did not reheat well.  Everything else went off without a hitch.  I had another nap in the afternoon and a great run in the evening!!
