Saturday: Bunny Bolt

SO this morning, I slept in a bit and then headed in to run the Bunny Bolt in its inaugural year.  It was a lovely time, and my friend Linda and I were the only two runners.   We ran five miles on the Richland greenways and then a one mile cool down.  I felt great, but was uber slow, the weather was muggy and a bit windy, but all else went really well.  There was an amazing brunch afterwards, and I ingested enough breakfast casserole for three people instead of one.

At home, it was all about getting ready for Easter tomorrow.  Now last year, in a hardcore move of sad parenting, I used a Lululemon bag as Ivan's Easter basket.  He did not seem to mind, but it is seared into my memory that he took a Lululemon bag to the church Easter egg hunt.  This year, I have a lovely yellow Easter basket  with little painted eggs and bunnies.  I filled little plastic eggs with jelly beans and Hershey foil wrapped eggs.  It is a holiday triumph.

Had a lovely nap in the afternoon.  On Saturdays, it is all about the nap.
